I began teaching fitness in Portland OR about 10 years ago after falling in love with movement, personally as an anxious 24 year old. Moving my body, quieted my mind and made me feel strong. I signed up for my first teacher training to learn more but quickly fell in love with teaching. I am a certified Personal Trainer, Power Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Yoga Sculpt Instructor, and Holistic Health Coach.

My philosophy has evolved over the years. I started out loving high intensity workouts but eventually found myself in burn out, injury and and overall an lack of balance (physically, energetically and in my life overall). My classes now vary in intensity and style and are more grounded in functional movements and strength training, with mobilty, cardio and plyometrics (jumping) sprinkled in. I try to sequence intelligently and build in with just the right amount of creativity to keep things interesting. I want my workouts to be fun, feel good and challenge you just enough.

As an instructor/trainer I have a wide array of experience; having worked with everyone from beginners to athletes, in person, online, locally and internationally. I was voted Best Instructor in Portland for ClassPass in 2017 and my online classes have been featured on the Barre3 online platform.

My personal online classes were born out of necessity between the pandemic, and moving from Portland in 2019. I’m so excited to still be able to connect with longtime clients as well as new ones digitally. These workouts have been my own personal lifeline seeing me through BIG years: including pregnancy, post partum and new motherhood. As my life has changed personally so have my classes. Some days I have 15 minutes to get a workout in, some days the energy is higher or lower. I know you can relate and there is a class here to fit you wherever you’re at.

On more personal notes: I am originally from the Midwest and will always be a Wisconsin girl at heart. I now live in the Columbia River Gorge in White Salmon, Washington with my husband, Patrick and our 2 year old daughter Gigi and our dog, Otis.
